Limit the damage when the roof is exposed
An active leak or displaced roof covering cannot always wait until normal opening hours. We attend urgent roofing problems 24 hours a day, including storm damage, water ingress and openings that leave the building exposed. Our first priorities are to understand the immediate risk, make the area safer and reduce further water entry where conditions allow. Tell us what you can see from a safe place, where water is entering and whether debris has fallen. Never climb onto a wet or damaged roof to investigate it yourself.

Temporary protection before permanent repair
Emergency work often starts with temporary weatherproofing. This protects the building while the roof dries, replacement materials are arranged or safer access is put in place. It is not the same as a finished repair. Once the immediate exposure is controlled, we assess the visible damage and explain the next work needed. The permanent repair may involve replacing coverings, renewing flashing or rebuilding a damaged detail. We keep those two stages clear, so you know what has been secured and what remains outstanding.
Frequently asked questions
What should I tell you during an emergency roofing call?
Tell us the property type, visible damage, where water is entering and whether any material has fallen. We also need to know about safe access, nearby cables or public areas. Photographs taken from ground level can help.
Will an emergency visit permanently repair the roof?
Sometimes a permanent repair is possible, but safety, weather and material availability may limit the first visit. We may install temporary protection, then return for the defined repair once conditions and access are suitable.
What should I do while waiting for an emergency roofer?
Keep people away from falling debris and do not climb onto the roof. If it is safe indoors, move belongings from the leak and use a container for drips. Avoid touching wet electrics and contact the proper emergency service if needed.
